About Chyleen Richey

Chyleen Richey is the Director of the Utah Office for Victims of Crime. She comes to CCJJ with 30 years of experience in the criminal justice field. She has worked as a criminal and juvenile justice policy analyst for the Utah Legislature, as an assistant professor for BYU and an adjunct professor for the University of Utah in their MPA programs, as Chair of the Utah Board of Pardons and Parole, and as a Deputy Executive Director for the Utah Department of Corrections. 

Chyleen has a BA in English, an MPA, and a PhD in Political Science. She is excited to continue her passion of working in the criminal justice system to improve the lives of those who are harmed and vulnerable.
