About Adrienne Buhler

Adrienne Buhler is the Juvenile Justice Grant Program Manager, where she maintains CCJJ’s Federal Title II funding. In this role, Adrienne manages the distribution of funds sub-awarded to local agencies and organizations, ensuring they have the resources necessary to support their initiatives. She also oversees the Utah Board of Juvenile Justice Grant Program and serves as the lead staff member for the Utah Board of Juvenile Justice.

Before joining CCJJ, Adrienne accumulated extensive experience working with youth in various settings, including schools, afterschool programs, and community centers. Her roles as a teacher and community center/afterschool coordinator have equipped her with an understanding of the needs and challenges faced by young people and their families.

In addition to her hands-on experience with youth, Adrienne has a strong background in grant writing and management for both public entities and private nonprofits. Her work has included supporting survivors of trafficking, refugee populations, and underserved youth, demonstrating her commitment to addressing complex social issues and advocating for vulnerable populations.

Adrienne was born in Salt Lake City, Utah, but moved to Maryland when she was 13 years old. She returned to Utah as soon as she turned 18 to attend the University of Utah and has lived there ever since.
