About Katie Fox

Katie Fox is the Victims’ Rights Coordinator with the Victim Services Commission. In this role, Katie assists victims who report a violation of their victims’ rights and works with the Judicial District Victims’ Rights Committees throughout the state to address those complaints.
Katie comes to CCJJ with over 15 years of experience in providing direct services to crime victims. She was the Director of Victim Services at the Utah County Attorney’s Office, where she assisted victims of all crimes, including serious crimes such as sexual assault, domestic violence, and homicide. She also had extensive experience in grant writing and management, helped design office space dedicated to victims, and received training to assist victims with protective orders. She worked at the US Marshal’s Service as a contracted Senior Program Manager working to reimplement a victim/witness assistance program within the USMS.
In addition to her direct services to crime victims, Katie has experience working with troubled youth and working with families who had adopted abused or neglected children.
Katie grew up in Utah County and graduated from Utah Valley University with a bachelor’s degree in Behavioral Science with an emphasis in Psychology.
Katie has a passion for helping victims of crime and hopes to utilize her knowledge to enhance and protect victims’ rights throughout Utah.
