About Liz Klc

Elizabeth Klc serves as the Director for the Utah Substance Use and Mental Health Advisory Council (USAAV+).  The USAAV+ Council works together to advise the Governor and Legislature on proposed policy and generate unity for the State's ongoing efforts to best address the intersection of behavioral health issues with the criminal justice system through its coordination of state & local governments and public & private entities.

Elizabeth earned her Master of Public Administration degree from Brigham Young University and prior to her employment for the State of Utah, worked with the Utah Behavioral Healthcare Committee at the Utah Association of Counties.  

She loves to travel and enjoy the local cuisine, but as a native Utahn, she loves small town county fairs, snow skiing, and fry sauce.
